Early-English Gothic Revival style Roman Catholic church, designed by J.J. McCarthy. It was built between 1853 and 1855 under Rev. John O’Connell, P.P.and was consecrated on Wednesday 16th May 1855 by Bishop Denis Moriarty.

ST MARY'S CHURCH, STANSTED

St Mary's church Stansted is known to have been in existence in 1312 when a John de Hynton took sanctuary in it. It is probable that it was built in the early part of the 13th century although there is reference to a chapel at Stanstede in the first half of the 12th century.

Summer Alp who is a third year undergraduate at the RCM, studying the recorder with Ashley Solomon, Julien Feltrin and Maria Martinez-Ayerza and the baroque oboe with Gail Hennessey
Sarah Small who is is a recorder and viola da gamba player in her fourth year at the RCM. She studies recorder with Ashley Solomon, Julien Feltrin and Maria Martinez Ayerza, and viola da gamba with Reiko Ichise.
Thomas Shelbourn is studying recorder at the Royal College of Music where he enjoys classes with top international players, the RCM Baroque Orchestra, conducting lessons and many other events in and around the college.

As the weathervane on the church tower proclaims, the people of Platt gained a church of their own in 1843.

We are pleased to announce that this concert raised a total of £2,655.17 for the charity. Ticket and programme sales, together with donations, raised £2,183.17 while the angels with their collecting buckets raised an astounding £472.

The cheque has now been presented to the charity who specifically wanted to let everyone know how genuinely delighted and incredibly grateful they are for all the hard work and the huge amount raised and wished to pass on their thanks to everybody involved.

All expenses involved were either donated by individuals or covered by Vigo Singers' own funds

Our grateful thanks to you, the audience, for coming to support us and for your generosity.

Thanks also to St John the Baptist Church for their help in setting up the event and for making the premises available free of charge.

The Protestant Temple of Saintes is a neo-roman monument in the municipality of Saintes (Charente-Maritime, Poitou-Charentes). Designed by the Parisian architect Augustin Rey, it was inaugurated on the 26th February 1906. It is an attraction for holidaymakers staying in the region.

Clifden, the capital of Connemara, was founded as a new town by John D'Arcy in the early 19th century.
The first Church of Ireland on this site, overlooking the town, was built in 1812 and replaced by the present building in 1853.

CHURCH OF ST MARY MAGDALENE, COBHAM

Cobham Church is a very old church standing on a hill in the centre of the village. Early in the thirteenth century the de Cobhams began to provide money for rebuilding the existing old church. Of this work only the splendid Chancel dating from 1220 survives plus some superb brasses, some 600 years old remain.

There has been an Abbey in West Malling for nearly 1000 years and the present St Mary's Abbey has been the home of Benedictine Sisters since 1916. When the Cistercian Monks left the adjacent Ewell Monastery, owned by the Abbey, in 2004, the Sisters invited Pilsdon to establish their second community here.
